Examination Process

Professional Examination Process- AQRB

  1. Law & Bylaws

    • Cap 269 RE 2023

    • Bylaws 2024, Clauses 58–77

  2. Examination Types

    • Intermediate Level: Written exam

    • Final Level: Written + Oral + Practical assessment

  3. Eligibility

    • Registered graduate

    • Paid examination fees

    • Intermediate: 3–7 yrs training (specialty-based)

    • Final: ≥4–7 yrs training + 2 yrs practical experience or passed Intermediate exam

  4. Application & Documents

    • Submit form 4 months before exam

    • Passport photos (2), certified certificates, CV, evidence of fees

    • Final: supervisor letter + 2 yrs practical experience

  5. Practical Experience Report

    • Original + 2 copies within 3 months from exam start

  6. Examination Fees

    • Pay within 7 days after approval

  7. Postponement

    • Submit reason to Board

    • Without valid reason = forfeit fees

  8. Failure & Re-sit

    • Re-sit failed subjects within 2 years

    • Max attempts: 3

    • Pass mark: 50%

  9. Review & Appeal

    • Review: 1 month + non-refundable fee

    • Appeal: 30 days after review decision

  10. Examiners & Results

    • Internal & external, 3 yrs term, follow code of ethics

    • Marks moderated → Board approves

  11. Cheating & Guidelines

    • Cheating = disqualification + disciplinary action

    • Follow Board exam guidelines
