                                                                    ON 4 TH AQRB ANNUAL CONFERENCE TO BE HELD AT MTUMBA

CONFERENCE HALL, DODOMA.

Architects and Quantity Surveyors Registration Board is a Government Institution which enforces the Architects and Quantity Surveyors (Registration) Act No. 4 of 2010 and among its functions is to promote, monitor and provide continuing professional development opportunities and facilities for study and training in architecture, quantity surveying and allied disciplines.

The Board wish to notify Architects, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Building Surveyors, Construction Managers, Engineers, Town Planners, Contractors, Real Estate Developers, Property Managers, Building Materials Suppliers and other Stakeholders in the Construction Industry that the Board will hold its 4 th Annual Conference at Mtumba Conference Hall, Dodoma on 19th and 20th October 2023.

The theme of the conference is “Urban Development Controls in Tanzania Growing Cities.” which will be discusses under the following topics: • Role of Architects and Quantity Surveyors in Building Controls in Urban Areas. • Effectiveness of Legal Frameworks in Urban Growth Controls in Tanzania. A case of Dodoma City Masterplan and its Implementation Trends. • Environmental Impact Assessment in Urban Built Environment. All interested Construction Industry Stakeholders are requested to prepare and present papers on the above topics. Interested persons are requested to submit an abstract on selected topic in one (1) A4 size sheet, by Thursday 31st August, 2023 to the undersigned.
